REVISED CHRISTMAS SERVICES

In light of the First Minister’s announcements, and levels of coronavirus in Wales, we have revised our Christmas Services in order to keep everyone as safe as possible

  • 20 December, 11.15am, the Nativity Service – cancelled. Instead,  ‘Gwasanaeth Goleuni – Service of Light’ 4th Sunday in Advent
  • 20 December, 7pm, Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols – cancelled
  • 21 December, 6pm, For Those we Hold Dear – as planned, ticketed
  • 22 December, 7pm, Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols – streamed only, without congregation present
  • 24 December, 4pm, Crib Service – cancelled. We shall post an  alternative Crib Service on-line that afternoon
  • 24 December, 11pm, Midnight Mass – streamed only, without congregation present
  • 25 December, 8am, Holy Eucharist
  • 25 December, 10.30am, Said Mattins instead of a Choral Eucharist. NO CHOIR - Please use Eucharist tickets

We very much regret that we cannot safely hold the services we had originally planned, and know this will be a disappointment to many. But we hope that through our alternative, and streamed, services and other items we shall be posting on line, you will be able to share with us in celebrating the birth of our Saviour, who, two millennia ago, came in ways that were quiet and unexpectedly modest. Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.
The Very Revd Dr Sarah Rowland Jones, Dean of St Davids
