Cardiff Polyphonic Choir are delighted to be part of this exciting German-Welsh collaborative project, bringing Mendelssohn’s Elijah to Cardiff and St David’s, and then Berlin. They team up with leading German orchestra, the Sinfonie Orchester Schöneberg, Cardiff Ardwyn Singers and Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society, to perform Mendelssohn’s great oratorio. After its first performance in 1846 The Times’ critic wrote “’Never was there a more complete triumph”. Come along and see why!
