Re-opening: The Cathedral will be closed from October 23 until November 9. Sunday Services can be viewed on Facebook and Youtube  at 11:15am. We will open again for general visiting and private prayer from November 9 between 10am - 3pm, except on Sundays from 1pm to 4pm. Welsh Government regulations now state all visitors to the Cathedral, including services must wear face-masks. Ordained Deacon June 2019

Trained and Licensed  Reader in Lichfield Diocese  January 1999. Served in the parish of Great Barr. Transferred  License to St Davids diocese and the Cathedral in

2008. Former Brownie Guider ( Barn Owl )Youth Fellowship Leader and Hospital Chaplaincy Volunteer. Married a fellow bellringer, Grandmother to twins.

Revd Sophie Whitmarsh

Sophie was born and until 2013 lived in Salisbury, Wiltshire. In 2000 she married Andrew, and they have 3 daughters, Chloe, Katie and Rachel. Sophie has a degree in Fine Art, a Certificate of Social Sciences, and is in her final year of a degree in Theology, Mission and Ministry, she was ordained deacon at St Davids Cathedral in 2019, and is due to be priested this June.
