'Fire-Break' and Re-opening!

To comply with the Welsh Government's 'Fire-Break', the Cathedral will be closed to visitors from 3pm on Friday 23 October to 10am on Monday 9 November.

We shall be streaming the Sunday Eucharist at 11.15am on Facebook, and Pilgrim Prayers from St David's Shrine at noon on Fridays. We will also stream a special service for All Souls at 5:30pm on 2 November and as Act of Remembrance on Sunday 8 November with the Silence at 11:am.

Public worship will resume on 9 November, with Morning Prayer and Eucharist at 9am Monday to Saturday (Eucharist at 10am on Wednesdays) and, on Sundays, Holy Eucharist at 11:15am and Evensong at 4:00pm, both with organ and cantor.

From 9 November we will again be open from 10am to 3pm daily, and 1pm to 4pm on Sundays, for general visiting.

In line with Welsh Government regulations, all visitors to the Cathedral, including services MUST WEAR FACE-MASKS

Welcome to St Davids Cathedral

Since the 6th century there has been a church on this site. For the past 1500 years prayer and worship has been offered to God on a daily basis which continues to this day. The Cathedral will be closed from October 23 to November 9 when we will re-open for visiting fom 10am to 3pm daily, and 1pm to 4pm on Sundays, for Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 11.15am, and daily for Morning Prayer and Holy Eucharist.

* During winter the Cathedral will close at 16:00 if there is no Choral Evensong.
