The Cathedral will be closed between 11:15am and 1.30pm for a wedding on Saturday 13th August.

St Davids Cathedral Choir is on holiday until early September.  There will be occasional choral services from visiting choirs

The Summer Concerts series takes place on Wednesdays at 7.30pm: tickets £8 on the door.

Face-coverings are no longer mandatory in the Cathedral, but you are welcome to wear them if that makes you feel comfortable.

Dogs are very welcome in the Cathedral grounds, but only assistance dogs are allowed in the building.

Tŷ’r Pererin - Education and Pilgrimage Centre

 

The cathedral's Education & Pilgrimage Centre, Tŷ’r Pererin, was officially opened by the Bishop of St Davids on Monday 4 March 2013.

Located on Quickwell Hill in the city of St Davids, the centre occupies a former Victorian junior school which was closed in the 1960s and then used as a school canteen. The school has remained empty since 2000 and has now been restored by the Friends of the Cathedral as a multifunctional centre, returning the building into use as an educational facility for the cathedral and community.

The purpose of the centre is to offer extended hospitality to visitors to the cathedral, with particular emphasis on educational and spiritual activities around the Shrine of St David and pilgrimage.
