Tyr Pererin - Canolfan Addysg a Phererindod

The cathedral's Education & Pilgrimage Centre, Tŷ’r Pererin, was officially opened by the Bishop of St Davids on Monday 4 March 2013.

Located on Quickwell Hill in the city of St Davids, the new centre occupies a former Victorian junior school which was closed in the 1960s and then used as a school canteen. The school has remained empty since 2000 and has now been restored by the Friends of the Cathedral as a multifunctional centre, returning the building into use as an educational facility for the cathedral and community.

The purpose of the centre is to offer extended hospitality to visitors to the cathedral, with particular emphasis on educational and spiritual activities around the Shrine of St David and pilgrimage.
