The Cathedral will be closed between 11:15am and 1.30pm for a wedding on Saturday 13th August.

St Davids Cathedral Choir is on holiday until early September.  There will be occasional choral services from visiting choirs

The Summer Concerts series takes place on Wednesdays at 7.30pm: tickets £8 on the door.

Face-coverings are no longer mandatory in the Cathedral, but you are welcome to wear them if that makes you feel comfortable.

Dogs are very welcome in the Cathedral grounds, but only assistance dogs are allowed in the building.

Bishop of St Davids

Joanna Penberthy was elected as the 129th Bishop of St Davids in November 2016 – the Church in Wales' first woman bishop, after serving as deaconess, deacon and priest. She was consecrated in Llandaff Cathedral in January 2017 and enthroned in St Davids in February. The Bishop of St Davids historically lives in Abergwili, Carmarthen.

Dean of St Davids Cathedral - Deon Tyddewi

Very Revd Dr Sarah Rowland Jones took up the role of Dean & Precentor of St Davids Cathedral in May 2018. She trained for the priesthood at St John’s College, Nottingham. She was ordained in 1999 and served initially in Wrexham, in her home diocese of St Asaph.

Sub-Dean and Canon Residentiary

Revd Canon Leigh Richardson is the Sub-Dean and Canon Residentiary.  Leigh was licensed at the Cathedral on Monday 12th February 2018.
